It starts with real pumpkins and believe me, the extra time it takes to roast them is definitely worth it! My secret to sensational pumpkin pie, in addition to using REAL pumpkins, is to follow the recipe on the back of the Libby's canned pumpkin can! How Ironic is that!?! 🥫🎃! Grab two sugar pumpkins and lets get baking! The preparation of this recipe can be thought of in three steps:

1. Roast the pumpkins

2. Make the pie crust

3. Make the pie filling

To host an unforgettable and incredible (aka Flaweless) dinner party, all you need is a desire to connect with people. It’s October, so this how-to is in theme with Autumn and things spooky but these steps can be applied to any dinner party, in any season.

This may be the most well received dish I’ve ever served. In fact, I made it for the first time as an appetizer at Thanksgiving about 15 years ago and it’s now a most important tradition at my table.
