For over two decades, Christine Cole has revolutionized the NYC restaurant industry. As the General Manager of NYCs top sushi restaurant, BONDST, for 10 years, Christine’s leadership oversaw the greatest era of profitability and employee satisfaction in the company’s history. Her employee-centric style is praised for creating one of “the happiest staffs in the city” as evident in the critically acclaimed service and BONDST’s massive return clientele.
As managing partner of the 180-seat dining room White Street in trendy Tribeca, Christine handled all aspects of opening and operating including space search, lease negotiations, legal/insurance, construction, design and execution to meet opening deadlines. Upon opening, she hired all staff including the celebrity chef - Floyd Cardoz - and organized ongoing training programs. During her time with White Street clientele, staff and investors unanimously praised Christine for her commitment to service and a quality experience while being acutely aware of business finances and actively tracking all expenditures and revenue.
As a successful entrepreneur, Christine created CHRISTINEats, specializing in chocolate “Prohibition Truffles” infused with alcohol and her city-famous “Bourbon Caramels”. Her products were widely distributed at Whole Foods, Bloomingdale’s, Dream Hotel, online, and other outlets.
Only 29 restaurants in the last 30 years have been awarded three stars from the NY Times. Empellon Midtown, under Christine’s vision and leadership as General Manager, was one of them.
Following the NY Times award, Christine opened her current venture, Flaweless, a hospitality brand specializing in one-of-a-kind events and experiences. She has an online shop as well as event venues in Tribeca and Soho NYC.
Christine understands the unique demands of New York City. Her extensive background in hospitality gives Christine an unmatchable insight into food choice, ambiance, and location. Bringing the right people together is of the utmost importance to Christine, while being dedicated to making sure whatever she is doing is memorable, impactful, and always goes off without a hitch. Making sure her team always feels supported – every step of the way – without hassle or overwhelm.
Canadian born and living in Soho with her successful entrepreneur husband, Jason Cole. They are the proud parents of their 14-year-old son, Frith. Christine is also a singer, an avid cook and wine sommelier.
