It’s hard to believe that for the second time, the dessert was the winning dish at our Sound Delish Supper Club! The theme this month was “Luck O’ The Irish” and Augie and I had such fun creating this menu. The dessert was one of the first things we came up with and then I never really gave it a 2nd thought until I was prepping it the day before. We would have two gluten-free guests so I knew I was going to attempt a gluten-free version but I honestly didn’t trust that gluten-free bread pudding would be as good as the real thing and made a gluten-full batch too.

It really seemed too simple to be as good as it was! But I guess that’s the point with truly healthy food. Less is more! Local, seasonal ingredients put together in a thoughtful way. The taste was nothing short of extraordinary.

Angel food cake is a beloved dessert that has been enjoyed for generations. It’s light and airy texture, combined with its sweet and delicate flavor, make it a Flaweless treat for any occasion but I have to say… it always makes an appearance at my Easter Brunch.

I love to bake no matter what season I’m in! But admittedly it can be harder to find a cake recipe that matches the season and is worth heating up the kitchen a few more degrees. This recipe for my Pineapple Rum Poundcake will knock your flip-flops off and have your swooning for more. It’s unbelievably moist and tropically flavorful.
