To host an unforgettable and incredible (aka Flaweless) dinner party, all you need is a desire to connect with people. It’s October, so this how-to is in theme with Autumn and things spooky but these steps can be applied to any dinner party, in any season.

This may be the most well received dish I’ve ever served. In fact, I made it for the first time as an appetizer at Thanksgiving about 15 years ago and it’s now a most important tradition at my table.

On September 11, 2001 a plane flew by my window at 8:46am and crashed into the north twin tower. I wrote this poem a few days later and was not ready to share it until recently.

For granola to be Flaweless it needs to be moist and chewy yet still have a little salty-sweet crunch. I absolutely love Whole Foods Market’s version so I set out to copy it and this is it!
